The Wellness Coalition (TWC) held its second annual Tour of Wellness community health fair series in Tuskegee on June 3, 2023 in the town’s square. The free event helped TWC and our partners provide access to health and wellness services to more than 300 attendees, 6 of whom received a COVID-19 vaccine on-site. Additionally:
- The first 75 attendees received a door prize.
- 12 more prizes were distributed via raffle.
- Three more prizes were given to the top three participants of the scavenger hunt.
- Our lifestyle coach, Demetria Pollard, led line dancing sessions to get people moving in a fun way.
Our final Tour of Wellness event for the year was held June 17, 2023 in Fort Deposit, at the Fort Deposit Armory. This event hosted 72 attendees, 7 of whom received a COVID-19 vaccine on-site.
