In an effort to stem the rising tide of suicide in the River Region, The Samaritan Counseling Center, Inc. is bringing Soul Shop to our community. Soul Shop is a suicide prevention and recovery program designed to train church leaders, clergy, program staff, lay ministers, office staff, and faith-based therapists to detect the signs of someone contemplating suicide and possibly save their life.
